Experience

Experience allows units to "level up", allowing them to grow stronger than before. Experience is shared and granted through killing enemy units and reviving allied commanders.


Each unit model has a designated XP value. When killed, this XP value is spread out over to all units that did damage to it. In addition, units that gain experience share it to all friendly units within a 55 radius. These units gain 40% of the XP that the original unit gained.


Every unit requires 500 XP per level. Leveling up grants various general bonuses such as increased health. Some Tyranid units however, also gain better synapse auras with levels. More info can be found in each unit's individual section.


Commanders gain x1.5 (+50%) more XP than other units. Reviving allied commanders grants the reviver 250 XP. A Farseer equipped with Spirit Stones gains 500 XP per revival, rather than 250.
